Social Media Strategy | Digital Analytics | Marketing Communications & Community Outreach

My Role

Director of Marketing and Public Relations

As Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Oxford Health Systems, I lead marketing communications across the organization’s healthcare service lines, including Oxford Paramedics and Primary Care & Wellness.

My responsibilities span marketing strategy, brand communications, content development, social media management, website performance analysis, campaign execution, and event planning and logistics. By combining strategic planning with hands-on execution, I work to strengthen the organization’s digital presence, maintain consistency across communications, and create meaningful opportunities to connect with the communities it serves.

The Challenge

Oxford Health Systems needed a more structured approach to social media that could increase visibility while making its healthcare services feel more accessible to the community. Content needed to do more than announce events or promote services. It also needed to build familiarity, highlight the people behind the organization, and show how its services support the community.

At the same time, performance data needed to be used more intentionally. Tracking social media engagement and website traffic helped establish a baseline for evaluating content, identifying audience interests, and informing future marketing decisions.

1.

Developing a Content Strategy

I organized social media content around three pillars: health and safety education, community outreach, and employee-focused content to inform the public and highlight our people and services.

2.

Showcasing Community Impact

I highlighted our critical care capabilities, community partnerships, local events, and outreach initiatives to demonstrate how Oxford Paramedics supports the community beyond traditional paramedicine.

3.

Using Analytics to Guide Optimization

I used Google Analytics, Search Console, Ubersuggest, and Meta Business Suite to track performance, identify opportunities, and optimize website content, SEO, and social media strategy.

4.

Turning Insights Into Results

Social media insights helped me prioritize engaging photo and video content, while SEO improvements helped the primary care website maintain first-page visibility and top-five rankings for targeted keywords.

Results & Impact

Across both service lines, marketing efforts have strengthened digital visibility, expanded audience reach, and improved engagement. Primary Care demonstrated growth in website traffic and visitor engagement, while Oxford Paramedics achieved substantial increases in social media views, interactions, and followers. Together, these results demonstrate a shift toward more consistent, measurable, and performance-informed marketing, establishing a foundation for continued growth and stronger connections with the communities served by Oxford Health Systems.

Primary Care Website Growth

90-day comparison ending October 25, 2026

Following the website launch and ongoing marketing improvements, the Primary Care website experienced measurable growth in traffic and user engagement compared with the previous 90-day period.

  • 31.9% increase in active users, reaching 752.
  • 29.4% increase in new users, reaching 739.
  • 30.2% increase in sessions, reaching approximately 1,100.
  • 19.8% increase in average engagement time, reaching 1 minute and 1 second.

These results reflect progress in website discoverability and visitor engagement. Improvements included SEO-focused website copy and meta descriptions, accessibility enhancements, blog content addressing common local primary care questions, and more consistent external marketing through radio advertising and community outreach. The website also maintains prominent local search visibility, appearing among the top organic results and prominently in Google Business Profile results for relevant primary care searches.

Oxford Paramedics Facebook Growth

April–September 2026 compared with the previous six months

During the first six months of implementing a more consistent, data-driven Facebook strategy, Oxford Paramedics experienced substantial growth across key performance indicators.

  • 1,664% increase in views, reaching 612,160.
  • 4,032% increase in engagement, reaching 46,026.
  • 412% increase in follows, gaining 481 new followers.

The strategy began with consistent publishing and more recognizable branded content, then evolved through performance analysis to prioritize high-performing topics, posts, and videos. This approach significantly expanded content visibility and measurable audience interaction. Because comments are disabled on the organization’s posts, engagement reflects the interactions available through the platform’s enabled features.
